Tour Booking & Payment Terms

All tours must be booked in advance. A deposit of 20% of the total tour price is due upon booking to secure the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the tour date. Bookings made within 7 days of the tour require full payment at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your tour:

More than 30 days before departure: You will forfeit your deposit.
15 to 29 days before departure: We charge 50% of the total tour price.
Less than 14 days before departure: We charge 100% of the total tour price.

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

You acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks and dangers, both known and unknown, associated with your participation in the tour, including but not limited to the risk of illness, injury, disability, or death resulting from uneven terrain, weather conditions, traffic, or other urban hazards. You hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Pittsburgh Gargoyle Tours, its employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action which you may now or hereafter have for any such damages or losses.

Limitation of Liability

Pittsburgh Gargoyle Tours acts solely as an intermediary for independent suppliers and is not liable for any acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any third-party suppliers. We are not liable for any injuries, losses, damages, or expenses resulting from events beyond our direct control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil unrest, terrorism, labor disputes, natural disasters, extreme weather, government regulations, or any other cause that is not reasonably foreseeable or avoidable.

Traveler Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you meet all health and fitness requirements for the tour. We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation and medical coverage. You are responsible for your own safety and must follow all instructions provided by your guide. Proper footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are required.

Force Majeure

Pittsburgh Gargoyle Tours is not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such events, we reserve the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule tours without liability beyond a full refund of monies paid directly to us.
